Middle School (age 12-15)
Our Middle School programme, for children aged 12-15, is designed to meet the unique needs of adolescents, who are active doers eager to discover their role in society. Balancing childhood and adulthood, students engage in seminars, debates, and real-world projects that connect them to the community, helping them uncover their passions and societal roles. Alongside their regular studies in math, science, and the humanities, they have opportunities to build furniture, cook meals, volunteer, and explore music and the arts, providing a well-rounded and meaningful educational experience.
Adolescents want to see and understand their own role in everything: they are active doers, not passive watchers or listeners. They want to discover their role in society but stand firmly with one foot still in childhood and the other in adulthood.
The Middle School programme uses these tendencies to give students the skills they desire with the information they need. Through seminars, debates, and real work that connects students to their community, they come to discover their passion and role in society.
In addition to their regular studies of math, science, and the humanities, students have opportunities to build furniture, cook lunch for themselves, volunteer at a local food bank, and explore music and the arts.
